47 year old Ilyas Kashmiri, a top al-Qaida commander, was killed in Pakistan when a missle fired from an American drone blew him up!
He was a possible replacement for bin Laden. I'm sure they have more possible replacements, so it isn't over.
Ilyas Kashmiri was al-Qaida's military operations chief in Pakistan. He was one of five most-wanted militant leaders in the country.
The militant group he was heading has vowed revenge on the U.S. for this.
