It is my opinion that Christian Science is dangerous as is Scientology. These two religions encourage faith healing, although Scientology doesn't call it that. Scientology calls it "dianetics". Faith healing takes people away from doctors.

Pauling spent his whole adult life working for a better world. He worked up until his death in his ninties.

I am submitting this to Man among Men to honor Linus Pauling senior. There is also a Linus Pauling Junior, who was also a scientist. However, the son did not become as famous as the Father.

I believe that the practice of medicine is a blessing from GOD. I believe that because the study of medicine has such a large cost factor or price on it, it can not be effectively and properly be used. There is a purpose for science and medicine but we have made all things valuable to mankind very expensive and therefore its' value decreases. This means that its' costs exceeds its' performance.

The practice of medicine and science would lead to more positive healing if we lost the value of it in expenses. It is a fact that there is need for cures to incurable diseases. Many people have been used as experimental factors for these cures. This the reason for Faith Healing. There are doctors who really want to use their gift for the goodness of mankind but there are many more who are only in it for the dollar. There are not that many doctors who can remember your name nowadays. Most doctors visits are recognized only by the chart your name is on. The Paulings may be in the few who used their talents graciously but it is those who have abused their talents for monetary purposes only who lead people to the Faith Healers.

I favor real science. Scientology is fake science. Anything which leads people away from real science is quackery, even if the intentions are good. Scientology calls psychiatry fake science, and there is some truth to that. However, orthomolecular psychiatry is real science.
