Todd McCarthy of Hollywood Reporter says that the film is "Audacious, confident, and fueled by youthful energy, this is a surefire summer winner for a wide global audience." MaryAnn Johanson of Flick Filosopher says it's "[S]tylish and snazzy to look at but also effortlessly cool in attitude." Ben Rawson-Jones of Digital Spy notes it's "An action blockbuster with rollercoaster thrills and laughs that has a fundamentally intelligent core."
It sounds like good news for X-Men: First Class which seems to dazzle and amaze with each new movie clip video unveiled on YouTube. These showcase the rookie mutants using their powers for good or evil. While many of the characters will already be familiar to audiences who saw the first three X-Men movies, a few new ones that pop up in the clips add enough intrigue to really make this one look like it's worth paying top dollar to see. Check out the video clip below for an invasion scene involving some of the villains.
