Thursday Writing Essential

Greetings, Gather writers. It's Thursday, and that means it's time to submit your writing to the Thursday Writing Essential. In honor of the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend, today's theme will be about those who have fought to protect our interests here in the United States. Is or was someone in your family part of the country's armed services? Do you know a service man or woman you'd like to honor? Share your sentiments about them here.
