Casey Anthony must testify in the Caylee Anthony homicide trial, say experts. If the "tot mom" doesn't, she may be looking at the death penalty. On day one of the trial, the defense dropped a huge bombshell, claiming that little Caylee was never missing, but that she had drowned in the family swimming pool, and that her death was covered up by Casey and her father, George Anthony.
Now, due to those heated accusations, which also include sexual abuse by George Anthony, and his son Lee, experts claim that Casey Anthony will have to take the stand to get her side of the story across. "There's no one else," said In Session Correspondent Beth Karas. "George Anthony already testified and denied it, so I do believe we will see her on the stand," she added.
Viewers who are avidly watching the trial are hoping that
Casey Anthony will take the stand. The public has been so emotionally involved in the disappearance and death of little Caylee, that it seems everyone is looking for answers, and justice.
It appears that this battle will turn ugly, and everyone-- including at home viewers--may be sucked into Casey Anthony's web of lies if she does take the stand. Do you think that Casey should testify in the Caylee Anthony homicide trial?

I think it's sick she accused her father of sexual abuse. She will do anything to save her neck. I think it would be a mistake for the defense to put her on the stand... all she knows how to do is lie and the prosecution will shred the opening statement story... and I am sure she will spin a tall tale and everyone will go, Huh???
I have no idea what to think anymore.......it's all taking forever to get on with the trial, it seems. Think I'm gonna have to watch part of it on t.v.
If her home life was so bad, why didn't she leave? I think it is horrendous what she said about her father .. her daughters gone, . her parents life have been ruined and now she heaps this on them. They are losing their home, last I heard to foreclosure. I doubt her mother can ever return to working as a nurse and where ever these people go, people are going to be mean to them.
I think it's going to backfire on her big time. I think the jury is not going to pity her as she wants. Throwing her father under the bus... yea, I can feel the love there... not.
I think that anyone that sits on a jury where there's been a crime committed, they should read CAREFULLY the 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th and 14 Amendments of the Constitution. The founding fathers were very specific when they wrote those and some of us either don't get it or we didn't pay attention in civics class in high school.
I think it has kind of backfired on them. Everyone has said she was a good and patient Mother. That was obvious from the sunny happy disposition Kaylee seems to have had. That is why I do NOT believe Casey killed her on purpose. I am inclined to believe it was the pool accident. I don't know if George was really there or not, but he did try to kill himself, so maybe he was. Same with the abuse allegation. Maybe he and Lee did do that, too. It would explain how she grew up able to appear happy even though her heart was broken. I am really leaning to believing it was a terrible sad accident that now has become a media frenzy. If her body was full of chlorine treated water, that would explain the chlorine in the car samples, and after it leaked out, the duct taping of the mouth and nose to stop it from leaking while they buried her. It really does make sense it was an accident and cover up. George was a detective. If he did tell her she was gonna fry, she would have believed she needed to cover it up.
I think the defense theory is way more believable than the prosecution's.
She is a rotten little liar for sure, I just hope someone on the jury can separate that from proof that she deliberately killed her daughter.
It seems that the media has mashed this up to the point it is hard to truly decide what the truth may be. Her own lies, feed right into what the media is portraying. Which is a shame if she truly is a victim. I guess we can only see how this all unfolds to ever have a glimmer as to what might have really happened.
Are you saying they would not find a residue of chlorine in the lungs if she drowned? I am waiting for all the forensics before I make up my mind, unlike you I don't know what real justice would be yet.
Did you catch the variation in the meter guy's testimony? The first time he said he saw a skull that had rolled out of the bag, yet the state said it was all in the bag, and the duct tape held the jaw in place. Very inconsistent.
