Tony Danza and Marilu Henner are holding a bedside vigil for Jeff Conaway in his hospital room. The three were actors on Taxi together. It seems that throughout the years, their 
friendships have remained strong despite their career paths taking different directions. It's not often that those who are successful in Hollywood keep in touch with those whose careers have tanked.
Sadly, Jeff Conaway fell into a coma on May 11. His condition has only worsened since then. There was much speculation that Conaway's condition was the result of a drug overdose. However a source claims otherwise, "...there is no evidence that Jeff intentionally took an overdose of pills, period. Jeff likely aspirated one of the pills into his lungs, prompting the pneumonia that he is now suffering from. Jeff is also septic, things are looking extremely grim for him. His doctors are telling his family and friends that he might not survive more than five days."
Hopefully, Jeff will recover and be able to explain his side. All too often, the entertainment industry seems to chew actors and actresses up before spitting them out. Conaway wouldn't be the first actor to die because of a drug overdose. However, he wouldn't be the first actor wrongly accused of dying from a drug overdose either.
Even though the situation seems grim, the source stated that Marilu Henner's vigil efforts may be having a positive effect on Jeff. The source stated, "Marilu has been talking to Jeff, and he seemed to be trying to respond to her over the weekend, even though he has been in a medically induced coma. Jeff would turn his head towards Marilu when she was talking to him. It was truly a touching moment."
And it appears that another person who doubts the five-day diagnosis is Tony Danza. The source said, "It is so hard for Jeff because of physical ailments that he suffers from that require pain medication, which unfortunately, he is also addicted to. Tony has been visiting Jeff in the hospital also, and telling him to pull through this so he can get sober, and prove everyone wrong."
It's truly a sad situation and at the same time, it's very sweet to know that Tony Danza and Marilu Henner care enough about Jeff Conaway to hold a bedside vigil for him. Hopefully, their wishes will come true and Jeff will be able to pull through. If that does occur, it would undoubtedly be a miracle. There's nothing like being given a second chance for one to appreciate life.

I believe he did overdose accidently as most addicts do.
Seeing him pn celebrity rehab shows, I think it was only a matter of time since he surely didn't seem to want to get clean. He was a big baby and had lost his strength of will and purpose. A sad, sad story.
