Police Release 911 Tape Reporting  Duluth Shooting
Woman shot, killed intruder who confronted her with knife in her home as she exited shower.
...This Lady,who was minding her own business, was startled when her lights went out.
...As she was stepping out of her shower, the intruder met her with a knife.
...He dragger her to her bedroom, when he threw her down on the bed.
...She was abled to retrieve her .22 caliber pistol and shot him6 times and he is now dead.
...She will face NO charges since it was obevious that her life was in danger.
...I find it pathetic that there either has to be a ruling from the sherrif, or from a court to let her know that she did no wrong??
...A self defense law, which my state has, would protect us to use such force in our homes, and when we are in our vehicles.
...I am gratefull that this "pistol packing Lady" killed her intruder. There is no place in society for rapists..

What's the alternative? Taking the killers's word that they were acting in self-defense every time there's a fatal shooting doesn't seem to sensible.
Even in states with "castle" laws, statements are taken, investigation procedures are followed, and decisions are made as to whether the shooter will be charged.
Glad that she was found to be fighting in self defense. There are plenty of situations where that's not the ruling.
No one has the right to rape.
