Ginnifer Goodwin may be currently starring in Something Borrowed--a movie all about weddings and relationships--but that doesn't mean that she's going to be starring in a wedding of her own anytime soon.
The 32-year-old actress and one of the (many) former stars of HBO's Big Love has split with her fiancé, according to a source close to the star.
Ginnifer Goodwin met her fiancé, 34-year-old Joey Kern (who you'll recognize from Super Troopers, surely), after mutual friend Justin Long introduced the pair. They got engaged in December, having dated for two years, and announced at the time that they planned to marry just months from now, sometime in the fall.
While no definitive reason for the split has been stated, it seems as though the announcement was delayed, with the source stating the pair, "broke up a few weeks ago."
Perhaps he was interested in polygamy?
In all seriousness, as sad as it is that Ginnifer Goodwin and her fiancé went their separate ways, isn't it better that they realize their incompatibility before they tie the knot?
