Good Morning Gather Friends 5/19

Well the morning is slowly slipping away and I don't feel as I have accomplished much. I am sitting here enjoying my coffee and doing little things on the computer. I am in no hurry today as it is not a busy day as far as work goes.

It is a little nippy out this morning so I skipped my walk until later. Diesel cut one of his paws yesterday so I doubt if he wants to walk very far. It isn't bad, more like a scratch than a cut, so i am watching it pretty close. He doesn't like to have his paws messed with so we can a little tangle going on  when I was putting medicine on it. But the medicine is on and he isn't mad at me.

I will be spending some time at my friends today working in the garden. She said that she can do it all but she isn't feeling the best so there is no way I would let her do it all. Not to mention I love working in gardens. I ended up with eight tomato plants surviving. I don't think that is too bad and I am sure we get plenty for all of us.

Well I am off and at it for now. I wish everyone a great Thursday. What are your plans for today?

Good morning! I'm actually thinking I want to get a job!!! I am so sick and tired of being around the house ALL day and ALL night........plus, being with/around hubby 24/7.......am at the point I can't handle it. I've even been thinking about getting back into my Hospice volunteering......I guess the fact is, I am so bored, bored, bored with home life and feel like there's really not a whole lot of "challenging" stuff going on......ughhhhh!
I need to work on scrapbooking and have to order graduation photos....today.....still haven't done that yet! I might make some lemon Cool Whip cookies this afternoon.
Sounds like you've gota really busy day ahead!

Maybe a job is a good idea. That would give you time away from the house and something to occupy some time. I don't know what I would do if I didn't work. Let me know what you decide.

Hello Sandy! I'm bummed that school is over - getting bored like Nora... I have to start really cleaning house today, my son and daughter are driving out here from Los Angeles tomorrow to visit for the weekend, and both are allergic to dust and cat hair - which is always everywhere in my house, LOL. Las Vegas is a dusty place! Hope you have a good day!

Well I went back to bed this morning after having a hard night with my daughter, nothing serious will post about that in a minute. So I am starting off late. It is a beautiful day out and it is calling me to go for a walk. Don't know if I will I have a bit of laundry to do. we will see in a bit. I hope you have a good day.

I think it was on a sharp rock cause it happened in the yard. It isn't bad, thank goodness. I need to get over to my friends so we can get the stuff in the garden. It is all ready.

Awww! We are doing a construction project on my house (building a new sunroom) and I am paranoid about nails! I keep thinking that one of the dogs will step on one.

I can relate with that. I have never seen a dog hurt from stepping on a nail but it is possible. I know what it feels like to step on so I can imagine how they would feel.

I'm basically just giving up on the week , Ive gotten no work to do and very little surveys hardly any free stuff and Ive not had a good mail day since Monday Im starting to think it just to close to the end of the month for anything good to start . Hope you have a great day !

Hi Sandy. Sounds like a good day for you. I went to breakfast w/ a friend and enjoyed visiting w/ her. I'm at another friend's house right now, helping her w/ some of her work. She's running errands at the moment and I'm waiting on her. It is beautiful today so hope to sit in the sun for 15 mins to get some Vit D! I have 2 articles to finish tonight. Nothing much else going on here!

Hi Debbie. It sounds like you had a good day. Did you get your time in the sun? I had quite the day. We [planted about two thirds of the garden then it started raining. Inside we went and just in time cause it started hailing pretty hard. My poor tomato plants looks terrible now.

Just came in from sitting outside in the sun. It got hot very quickly, 82 at noon. We are supposed to get up to 90 today! C-r-a-z-y!

Got up this morning and went to the park with hubby and son. We walked around the lake, then played on the swings for a while, then to target to buy a 3 pound hand weight, then home to veg out in front of the 'puter till supper time.
