What Are We Celebrating Today --- Thursday, May 19, 2011?

I"m sorry that I'm so behind. Things here just aren't going all that well right now, and I'm also soooo busy right now.

First, it's Connie C's birthday, so wish her a happy one. She doesn't have her pings turned on, so email her instead.

There isn't much else celebrated today, but it's also......

1). May Ray Day: Celebrate and enjoy the warmer days of summer, thanks to the sun's longer rays. Or just pay tribute to everyone you know named "Ray"! Hopefully it's going to get a little warmer here, as it's been a little chilly lately.

2). Boy's and Girl's Club Day: This holiday celebrates the invaluable Boy's Clubs and Girl's Clubs around the country. There are clubs all over America providing safe recreational activities for our youth. I've actually never been to one of these clubs, as there has never been one near where I lived.

 

Enjoy today.....and Happy birthday Connie !!!

Wow I'm finding out a lot of gathers are born in May Peters Birthday was yesterday , Mine was the 15th and now Connie . Happy Birthday Connie!

I have never had one before. I don't drink alcohol. Are they good? Do they taste like tomato juice?

We were planning on meeting some members this summer but this last surgery put a halt on those thoughts before they could be put into action.

There is a commercial on the side of this page with a lion swinging its tail from side to side. I got sidetracked (it don't take much to do that these days) viewing it and almost hypnotized myself. LOL

I had to turn my pings off because I kept forgetting to check them. LOL People were leaving me important messages and I was not getting them so I do not allow them now. Better to be inconvenient than have everyone made at me.
