Bonnaroo celebrates its tenth anniversary this year (as does ACL festival - apparently 2001 was a great year!), and as such, brought its A-game with regards to their lineup. With headliners such as Eminem, Arcade Fire and The Black Keys dotting the lineup, it should come as no surprise that the music festival has officially sold out. In fact, the only surprise there is that it took Bonnaroo tickets three months to sell out, rather than days or weeks!
Who else can the estimated 80,000 festival-goers expect to see next month? Alongside the aforementioned three, Lil Wayne, Widespread Panic, Mumford & Sons, The Strokes, The Decemberists and the String Cheese Incident are all a part of the lineup, proving there is something for just about anyone.
If none of those names are your thing, though, what about Florence Henderson & the Machine, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Robyn, Scissor Sisters, or - for the Country music lovers that are incumbant to Tennessee - Loretta Lynn?
Despite some complaints inherent to Bonnaroo (between the camping and the crowd, things can get a bit dirty and backwoods!), with a lineup like that, it is easy to see why Bonnaroo will be at full capacity when the festival kicks off on June 9.
Are you one of the lucky 80,000 who will be seeing some of the bands on what is arguably the best lineup of the year?
