Robert Pattinson celebrates his 25th birthday today, and it's Friday the 13th no less; hopefully he's not superstitious! The Breaking Dawn heartthrob is currently in Toronto, reportedly with girlfriend Kristen Stewart, as he creates some distance from the Twilight franchise by shooting his new film, Cosmopolis.
The couple may be spending time in a pretty swanky Hazelton Hotel suite in Canada (several thousand dollars a night swanky!), but the big question is whether they'll go out on the town to toast Pattinson's special day—or if Stewart will even be with her man to celebrate.
Some reports have reasoned that K-Stew may be heading to France for the Cannes Film Festival, where her movie On The Road is being screened. Then again, she could very well skip that red carpet opportunity and kick back with R-Pattz instead.
Hollywood Life put together a quick roster of Toronto restaurants that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart could hit up for his birthday. But, it's not likely they'll make a big birthday scene. Nevertheless, they could go raw at Sushi Kaji, an intimate spot that only seats 30, which means more privacy and less paparazzi moments for the hot pair.
Scaramouche restaurant might also be a solid option, with its romantic views of the city and contemporary cuisine. A quick, comedic aside: "Scaramouche" is actually a roguish clown character, dating back to 17th century Italian farce. Clowns and birthdays? Definitely a good fit!

Still another choice is Auberge du Pommier, a small, upscale French place that would provide Kristen Stewart with a taste of France should she decide not to jet to Cannes this time around. And, a real fiesta could be had at Chiado, a Spanish tapas and wine bar.
But, again, given Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's low-profile, casual preferences, they may not go for any of the aforementioned eateries. Maybe takeout is on the menu, plus a really big cake. Time to blow out those birthday candles and make a wish!
