Yesterday Sony began the final stages of internal testing of the new system, an important step towards restoring PlayStation Network and Qriocity services. Kinda makes you wonder what the heck they've been doing for the past 17 days now.
However, they've stated that that have been working around the clock for better Network enhancement protections of our personal data. And is ensuring us it's their top priority that our data is safe and secure when the Network is back up and running again.
My gosh what a long wild ride were having to endure to say the very least. Sony also promised us updated security measures with 'AllClear ID Plus' Identity Theft Protection in the US via Debix, Inc. which entails:
- Cyber monitoring and surveillance
- Priority access to licensed private investigators and identity restoration specialists.
- A $1 million identity theft insurance policy per user
I'm sure Sony is doing everything they can to ensure a better more secure online experience for us with out another snafu like this again or a very long time to come.
