It probably be a splinter group. Bin Laden was like the bully at school, the one that beats the hell out of you every day and takes your lunch money. Sooner or later, you're gonna want to eat lunch and so you kick the bully's ass, so to speak. You might get some scrapes, a few bruises and might even lose a tooth but the trip to the principal's office makes it worth it. If you stand up to someone like that long enough, there's a good chance that he'll get the message, sort of like Jimmy Stewart shooting Liberty Valance.
...and it was Obama that did the deed. Granted, there are going to be some that will want to see photos of Bin Laden dead. This is a huge blow for the Taliban and may have assured Obama another 4 years at 1600 Pennsylvania.
