Congratulations Mr. President. Mission accomplished.
It's being reported that the architect of 9/11 Osama Bin Laden has been killed and the United States military is in possession of the body. The al-Qaeda leader was killed in a mansion outside Islamabad in an operation based on actionable US intelligence, CNN reported. Bin Laden was behind a number of terrorist attacks, including the attacks on New York and Washington on 11 September 2001.
Capturing Bin Laden has always been high on President Obama's lists of priorities. In recent months the United States military has increased it's drone attacks aimed at al-Qaeda and the Taliban within Pakistan and the mountainous regions surrounding Afghanistan despite opposition from the many leaders in the region.
Well today, the administration did what the previous administration was unable to do. Despite being labeled as weak on defense by Republicans, the Obama administration killed and captured the architect of 9/11. This is truly one of those moments when Americans will say they remember where they were when the news broke that Bin Laden was dead.
I'd like to thank President Obama for his diligence in going after Bin Laden. After 9/11 former President George Bush had him cornered in the mountainous region along the Pakistan/Afghanistan boarder in Tora Bora. Bin Laden and his cronies were allowed to walk across the boarder into Pakistan without a whisper. That's all ancient history now that the mission is now accomplished.
What will be the GOP spin?  Are Democrats weak on defense? How are you feeling tonight?
