Lip readers have deciphered the prince's word to his bride-to-be. They believe that he told her that she looked beautiful. Immediately following that, he spoke to his father-in-law-to-be saying, "We were supposed to have just a small family affair." Indeed. There is no way to describe what happened today in London at Westminster Abbey as small or simply a family event.
As Kate Middleton (now known as Her Royal Highness Princess Catherine Elizabeth, The Duchess of Cambridge) walked down the aisle at Westminster Abbey to "I was Glad," Prince William carefully did not look at his bride as she made the 4 plus minute walk down the 300-foot-long aisle. The reason William didn't look at Kate was due to the tradition that the groom is the last to see the bride. What a long wait!
In all, it was an incredibly lovely day for a royal wedding. The ceremony was beautiful, and the world adored Kate's dress, which was a Chantilly lace gown designed by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen. Everyone seemed to agree with the Prince's whispered words at the altar. She was quite beautiful as she became an official princess. What do you think? Check out the video of Kate's dress revealed below.
