On the Wizard a crewman nearly goes overboard when he gets his foot caught in the buoy line. He breaks the cardinal rule of crab fishing when he does not keep his feet planted on deck. If he went overboard; he would be dragged down by the 800 pound crab pot and would certainly be a goner. Just another reason we sit on the edge of our seats watching this show!
See Jake Harris drive the Cornelia Marie after a two-minute lesson from Captain Derrick Ray. Find out if this short lesson is enough for Jake to learn all the rules so important to drive a crab boat on the rough Bering Sea.
