With "Twilight" wrapping up, will Robert Pattinson have a career after playing Edward? It seems as if the actor will have to choose very carefully to continue his success as an actor once the series is over.
While Pattinson's latest film, "Water for Elephants," co-starring Reese Witherspoon, came in third at the box office this past weekend, it still remains to be seen if he will have a viable career after "Twilight."
While the expectations for the film weren't high, because it wasn't a runaway hit, means that many studios won't be throwing their leading rolls at the "Twilight" star. His other recent films "Remember Me" and "Little Ashes" weren't major hits either.
Future films that Pattinson has already signed on for are "Bel Ami" and "Cosmopolis." Will these films be huge hits for the studios? They don't seem like blockbusters, but of course, that remains to be seen.
What do you think? Do you want Robert Pattinson to have a successful career after "Twilight," or will he be forever Edward to you? It is interesting how the franchise that made him into a household name could actually end up being what brings him down in the end. If people can't see past it, then he will have a rough go of it in the future.
Robert Pattinson seems to be a good actor, so hopefully he'll find post-"Twilight" success.
