A Day With Marsha 4/24/11

I want to apologize again to those of you who do read my sidetick daily blog as once again I'm copying here what I just posted there.

I hope you all had a very wonderful day!

It was a pretty great day here!  I was so angry and upset over the weather forecast yesterday and let myself get in a bad mood over it.  You know what?  It ended up being a pretty nice day after all!  They are calling for rain overnight now.

I'm having a me day....it is a holiday, and my birthday after all.

Steve went to church with us before 7 am for all the services and activities.  Me and Jasmine came home by ourselves.  I wondered where him and the grandkids had gone to.  Well, he came home and brought me a birthday card, 2 bottles of Dr Pepper, 2 big  bags of peanut butter m&m's, and a pair of sterling silver diamond earrings.    I wish he hadn't done the latter moneywise, but you know that I love them.

My grandson (my son's son) came in to town and spent the afternoon with us.  He brought me a present--a nice wax warmer and 3 packages of wax tarts to go with it.  I love it!   My son's birthday is on the 28th and his son brought him a Magic card starter kit.  He loved his gift too!

My mom gave me some Avon lip balm and hand lotion, a small bag, a pair of socks and a yellow button up shirt.

I didn't expect so much at all!

The dinner was great....the egg hunt was lots of fun too.

I've been in the mood to sew, so that's what I did after all the company was gone and Steve had gone to bed.  When Amazing Race came on, I brought my cutting mat and material in here and sat on the floor and watched it.  Now I've been watching this Hallmark movie, which is making me cry.  But, after the news, I'm going to go back to my craft room and sew away until I decide to go to bed.  I do want to finish up the quilt squares for church and finish up the quilt that I started before we started looking at houses.  I want to get another one started, as well as another table runner.

I guess I better stop blabbering and move along.
