Earlier today, it was announced that Justin Timberlake would be hosting the season finale of Saturday Night Live this year. Timberlake has been on the late night sketch comedy show multiple times, and fans love his parts in Digital Shorts, but now it's in question if he will actually be part of the season finale.
Fact or fiction?
Earlier today, someone tweeted to @nbcSNL asking if Tina Fey was hosting the season finale this year. The response they got was, "Nope! We have Timberlake after that!" However, the tweet has since been deleted, and now people are wondering just what the final episodes of SNL hold. Could someone have simply spilled the beans too early? Could this news have yet to be officially confirmed for release? Even if Justin Timberlake is hosting, it is possible he is hosting on May 14, and the finale is on May 21, meaning he could be hosting and just not the season finale. It wouldn't be a surprise if he did wind up hosting one of those final two episodes—he tends to pop up every so often on the show even if he's not hosting, and it will have been two years since he last hosted by the time either of those episodes air, so he is due.
What do you think? Do you think Justin Timberlake will be hosting the season finale and someone just let the cat out of the bag too early?
