I just watched a preview of Rise of the planet of the apes at IMDB.com. This film is a new start for the legendary film franchise, basically what is now known as a reboot. From the preview seems this time scientist are trying to find a cure for Alzheimer's disease and experiment with a new drug on a ape names Caesar. Of course, you know where that leads to, a smart ape that leads his species to become the rulers of the planet. It looks good and is a interesting idea for a reboot and I hope this one does well so we can see a new take on a earth ruled by apes. Tim Burton's Planet of the ape concept was closer to the original novel where the ape civilization was on another planet instead of on earth, but that is where any of the movies connection or resemblance to the novel ends.
