The seeds whisper their secret
To the soil and the rain
“Please loan me your essence
And I will bloom again”
To April’s moon they make promises
“Saying “Give way to May’s Sun
And I’ll reward you with beauty
On your next monthly run”
(I tried to load a picture of a moonflower to go with this post, but after fifteen failed tries I gave up)

Your poem in lovely.
April rain softens Earth
I love the poem, and I'm also jealous. I don't get moonflowers until closer to the end of summer. On the other hand, that means the sun is out later, so I can see them better. lol
