Sometimes I feel like I spend as much time at the hospital off duty as I do when I am working. Sitting here in the Day Surgery waiting room again. This time it is Ed's right knee. He is having arthroscopic surgery to see why it has been giving him hell. We know that in the fall Ed has to have total knee replacement on the left knee and today we will find out about the right knee.
Already saw the Doc and the nurses are getting him prepped for surgery. I had to have a cup of coffee (none yet this morning) so I snuck out.
I guess I had better not stay away too long. Don't want him thinking that I don't care.
Keep Ed in your thoughts and keep your fingers crossed that he doesn't have to end up with a total knee replacement on the right knee, too.
Let you know what we find out. Have a great day!

Best to Ed! Knee pain is nasty and it is aMAYzing how our knees are involved in nearly every single movement we make. Ow.
Hope you get that coffee.....I know I cannot start my day without mine....LOL!
Blessings,Friend!
It is painful because they keep having to work the knee in the machine... When I was brought to Bayfront for my shattered left tibia (countryside sent me down the day after I was brought there) my room mate had the knee operation and every time they had her knee in the machine it was torture for her...
When my mil had it done she also needed the same side hip done so it was a double whammy for her... the machine would lift the hip so she was hurt with the hip as well.
Many people are grateful when they get through it, but although I never had it, those I knew did, it was not easy.
