A Kindle, some books and the end of my packing .

I have been  getting ready for a move and really have not spent much time online this winter and spring . I didn't think I would be placing any orders at Amazon.com very soon either. I really wanted to order a Kindle in time for my birthday In May.

Thanks to a friend who bought a old sewing machine from me I ended up with some extra money. So this evening I ordered my Kindle . I sure hope I will not be disapointed.

I also checked my amazon.com gift card balance ( I earn gift cards for playing on Winster) and I had $50.00 in my account. I also have accumulated about 67.00 in my Pay Pal account. So I was happy to be able to order a larger memory card for my camera and I also ordered 8 new books from my amazon wish list .

So that is bright spot in my rather drab week. I hate packing with a passion. Still have some more to come. Will be done by the end of the month though.

I have a Kindle for Christmas and they are great! I don't think you'll be disappointed. Amazon offers a lot of free books for Kindle as well and they change from time to time so check their site regularly.

I noticed we have the same birthday BTW. :D

Yeah, I love my Kindle and I have downloaded over a 100 free books so far !

We are staying on the island for the next 2 months for sure and hope to be for 4 months. Come September we still are not sure at all .

I hate packing too, hope to never move again.

We have moved twice since 2009. It's not easy to move. Though I have to say, God was good to us and although we are not where we once were, he got us through it. Sometimes when we are "in" things, we often can't understand his reasons.

My daughter Jordan is doing very well in her current school and I really feel that although she was not happy to have moved, (we had to) the change may have benefited her. She was not on the honor roll before we moved.. and she was on it all last year and so far, this year.

Sometimes it's best to have faith and believe there is something better ahead of us. When my husband is out of work, I have always thanked God right away for the new job that he has lined up. I also run out and buy something new... for him to wear to interviews... so he realizes I have confidence in him, and so that when he does interview he looks good and feels good about it.
