It's time for an acrostic! And it's time to bring back the armadillo!  Sort of.
. . . Write, in 100 or fewer words, an acrostic. Your target
word is ARMADILLO, but you MUST NOT USE THE ACTUAL
WORD "ARMADILLO." (Your Shortie doesn't even have to
mention armadillos, so long as the first letters of each line
spell out the word.)

All that Glitters is Gold

 

A long time ago there lived a wizard.

Remy was his name and turning lead into gold was his game.

Many a greedy soul went to have their fortune turn on a spell.

And he obliged them one and all.

Dangerous was his work sometimes.

Ill tempers flared quite often, for...

Lighted-fingered was dear Remy.

Laughing, he stole the gold he made and fled.

Over the hills and far away.
