Chelsea Kane's diet while performing as a contestant on Dancing With the Stars is a bit unconventional, to say the least. While many people stick to rabbit food when appearing half dressed on television, Kane's diet travels to the opposite end of that spectrum--and what a delicious, and rather sinful, spectrum that is!
According to a report from People Magazine, the DWTS performer and Disney star claims she wants a burger every time she successfully survives another elimination show. It seems that dancing is quite the calorie-burning outlet, and Chelsea is enjoying that for all it's worth. (Do you suppose she throws in a side of fries--or maybe onion rings with that burger?)
"I've been using this show as an excuse to eat whatever I want and not feel bad about it," Chelsea Kane says.
Even doughnuts aren't off limits in this unconventional DWTS diet.
"Whenever we take a break, we usually wander over and get a Red Bull and a doughnut. This is, of course, the perfect combination for what any dancer needs," she says.
It seems a doughnut shop is very conveniently located right next door to where Chelsea Kane and the entire Dancing With the Stars gang rehearses. Kind of makes you wonder how far she has to go for that burger, doesn't it?
Oh, to live on burgers and doughnuts, and not need to worry about dress sizes and thigh shapes the next day--can you even image having that dieting luxury? Of course most people don't get the kind of cardio workout that a dancer gets on a daily basis. Still--one can dream, right?
As Chelsea Kane relishes her burgers and chows down on her doughnuts, she's still giving DWTS contestants quite a run for their money. She and Mark Ballas continue to wow the crowds and garner volumes of votes each week on the show.
Will Chelsea Kane's unconventional DWTS diet take her all the way to the top? Even if it doesn't, she'll have noshed on her favorites and emerged with absolutely not one physical hint of her transgressions! Good for you, Chelsea!
