The Big Storm Flew Over My City of Greenville

I am terrified of tornadoes! Why did that storm had to fly through here?! The lights were flickering a bit. But the windows feel like it was going to burst out! The rain and wind became very heavy. But my cats were a lot more braver than me. They just poked their heads through the window and watched the stormed?! If they start freaking out, I'm diving head first into the bath tub. But thank goodness, I still have electricity.

After such a terrible storm that had swept across here, I'm just glad that I didn't agreed to live in the mobile home that a friend of mine wanted me to stay in. Not to mention having to deal with the roosters crowing just a few feet from the bedroom window. The storm came when I had just gotten finished with work. They had issued a tornado warning on the radio. Good thing I lived only 7 minutes away! On the plus side, my apartment was made of brick.

Thank goodness the storm didn't do much damage here in eastern N.C of Pitt County. There's a few people with minor injuries and a guy had a 30ft pine tree fell on his car on the road. Sometimes I wonder why people don't bother to take shelter when it was obviously dangerous out on the road.....
