Just in time for spring, Apple plans to debut a white-bodied iPhone at the end of April.
The iPhone 4, which was initially released June 24, 2010, had the classic black-body style. Although Apple planned to offer a light-color iPhone 4 during the 2010 launch, manufacturing difficulties with the white paint held up the release.

Now tech-minded fashion-forward folk can coordinate the white iPhone 4 with their lighter-colored spring wardrobes. Think that's frivolous and unnecessary? Apple is banking on the millions of impending sales when the iPhone hits store shelves in late April 2011.
Verizon and new iPhone outlet AT&T will offer the white iPhone at their retail outlets and online, according to a USA Today news report.
