Bless You, Dancing with the Stars

When I was a kid, cartoons had classical music backgrounds, but that wasn't true when my son was small. My son is a country music fan, through and through. (I blame it on myself, since I was taking country dance lessons when he was at a vulnerable age.) When I'm playing classical or jazz when I pick him up, he automatically changes the radio station.

This last Dancing with the Stars episode had several well-known classical music pieces. My son volunteered that the music was pretty. I mentioned that he had many opportunities to listen to that melodious music. Maybe he's spread his horizons and I'll get to finish more pieces on the way home. Or, maybe when I make him change stations because of a particularly bad country singer, he'll choose one of my stations.

I enjoyed the music that night as well. I don't listen to classical often, but when I played piano, classical and jazz were the two I loved to play
