Born This Way, admired by Elton John, is now the fastest selling song, and is “anthem for a new generationâ€.Â
Lady Gaga’s music, once listened by us, never dies. We find a sense of the infinite in her lyrics. Our darknights are brightened by the moonlight of her songs. They refresh our tired nerves. After hearing her Born This Way we feel that life is not meaningless as affirmed by nihilists and existentialists. This angelic song echoes in our memory, reminding us of Shelley’s oft-quoted lines;
Music, when soft voices die
Vibrates in the memory.Â
Lady Gaga’s spontaneous outburst of emotions in her songs works like medicine for our minds. We should take a music bath to cleanse our soul. The power of music as a useful therapy was well realized by the great English poet:Â
There is in souls a sympathy with sounds:
And as the mind is pitch'd the ear is pleased
With melting airs, or martial, brisk or grave;
Some chord in unison with what we hear
Is touch'd within us, and the heart replies.
~William Cowper
The following lines leave no doubt in my mind that Lady Gaga is the perfect singing Goddess:
  Her lyrics are unsurpassable.
