Color me niave. I wrote earlier that I thought it would be highly unlikely that such a thing would be possible given the distances involved. Well, radiation was found in rain water in Massachusetts. For those of you who are as geographically challenged as me, that's on the East coast of the United states.  Japan is  6,769 miles from Massecusetts, yet trace amounts of radiation were still found in the rain water there.
No radiation was found in the drinding water however. Officials have stated that there is no health risk. Nevada, Pennsylvania, California and Washington have also shown comparable amounts in rain water.
Now there has been another earthquake in Japan registering 6.5 near the original 8.9 earthquake site. Containment is failing. A full scale meltdown could not only spell disaster for the Japanese people, but apparently could affect us and many others.

After our government gave away billions without any list of where it all went, and declaring no one needed to know... and we had no public uprising about it, remember it was more or less, business as usual in this country, I realized how great there are influences on us. I don't trust the media at all. In fact when I hear about "Charlie Sheen" for weeks or stories like that, I wonder what is going on that they want us focused elsewhere in this country. There is so much we don't know.... and all too often other people in other countries know a side of our government we don't.
