Here is an excerpt from Cleon Skousen's book on those clear goals: See if you don't find some of them being done in America already.
Is he not telling the truth?
We must look at their voting records to determine which ones are obeying their puppet masters and which ones are obeying their constituents' wishes?
The Wall Street manipulators are at least honest about maximizing profit by any means. That does not make them good, it just makes them honest about their intent to exploit.
The evidence I see around here is the continuous conflation of Fascism with Communism despite the fact that they are polar opposites. But you can expect that kind of distortion aimed at a poorly educated, thoroughly indoctrinated mass of desperate 9 to 5er's.
I watched a show on tv where a family's two pit bulls were consistently menacing the couple's newborn, yet the three were together frequently with little supervision. How stupid do we have to be? Does the child have to have her arm torn off first?
Politics is just an extension of this incredible creeping ignorance. Unbelievable.
I think most of us do that to some degree. But some carry it to extremes.
Stephen Pizzo seems to be right about 'creeping ignorance', simply reading his article proves it is real one person at a time.
Thatt article is ladened with stereotypes and cliches. Stereotyping and chiches are waht we commonly hear from the ignorant for they are unwilling to think for themselves. They use them because it is what they hear from the media.
If we want to talk about the ramifications of "creeping ignorance" then talk about what it will lead to rather than leave the discussion to stereotyping people you diagree with.
As best I can tell is that the 'tea party' people came togehter over ever increasing governement debt, government spending, and the lack of politicians accountablity. I admit I am cocnerned about those issues. Though, I do believe the atmosphere is warming, that science is the explanation of our physical world, I even belive in the 'big bang' though on that one my view is that God created it. Am I a 'tea partier' or simply ignorant?
In my town a major contributor to the 'creeping ignorance' is our schools, 50% graduation rate and the top graudates having to take remedial classes when they enter the local community college. It is those that distill their views on politics to stereotypes and are never interested in listening to what people are saying and why they saying it.
Ignorance is creeping in and the tide is rsing way to fast.
If we keep doing the same things (giving more and more money) we have been doing and keep getting the same (poorer an poorer edcuated kids) results. "That's just dumb for them to do, in my opinion. "
Rather than keep giving the money, why not hold the schools and those who run them accountable?
Most of us simply want to do something different so at least there is hope for a better outcome.
You're right, here in my small district the local taxess have dropped slightly do to the gradual decline of home assessments and the loss of businesses. The state is going is cutting the moneys they pay to the districts, though the number kids attending schools has also decreased.
The pay (benefits included) hasn;t declines. Gross dollars paid is down, non teaching employees has declined. But the only thing we hear about (from both sides) is about money, nothing about changing how the system works.
I have obsiviously over reacted to the remaked about more money for the schools without any accountablity.
Thanks again for keeping me from letting get to carried away with the rhetoric.
I really admire your ability to correct yourself. Thanks.
