Did You Get a Group Invite from Gather?

Just wondering....

Today I received a group invite from Member Support to join a group called "Gather Tips."

Did everybody get this, and/or know what is going on? There was no new message with it or anything, and as far as I can tell the group kind of died some time ago with no recent postings from Gather. It was originally created in 2006 I believe.

Is it being revived by Gather perhaps? I haven't seen anything about it...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyway... I guess I'm thinking out loud whether to accept or not.

Probably some glitch, or maybe the invite has been floating around in Gather-la-la-land for five years and just showed up, ha ha!

Hey, did you contact Member Support recently? Maybe it's a new thing they started where you get invited if you contact them?

I think it was resurrected ... Chuck joined the group in February or March. It is owned by Gather Member Support (I don't know if it always was or not). I think Chuck probably had some plans for the group, but never got it going except for sending you an invite! ;o)

I don't think it is active anymore Gloria, unless something has changed recently? Going through some older posts there might help some though? Sometime ago Gather and a couple of other members were more active in helping people get around and learn new things, but it all sort of died. Best thing I know to do now is just ask around, explore a lot, make a post to ask, etc., and you'll probably be helping others at the same time as well when getting answers, LOL.
