You know that this story had to come out of Texas. Â A woman in Texas is teaching pole dancing to Christian women. Â The Class is called Pole Dancing for Jesus.Â
When I finished laughing, Â I thought that I'd share it.
I recently commented this on a post:
"I wouldn't venture to guess what Jesus would or wouldn't like. That kind of assumption shows a remarkable amount of hubris. "
So now, it has been decided that Jesus would like Pole Dancing. Â Jesus and I have more in common than I thought.

The truth is, you can say what you want, Jesus Christ still loves you and still calls you. He will give you a new life. different than the one we are born with. He's the one that told us to love our enemies.
But, his love allows you, yourself, to make the decision on whether or not you want life. If you choose 'no', He lets you go.
Saying yes changed my life.
And Jesus and Allah are not comparable figures, but I'm sure you know that.
But it is highly indicative of the victimization that your ilk feeds on that you'd take it that way.
I treat Him with respect because He is my God and Lord. Allah I don't recognize, I just don't downgrade him because other maybe would be hurt. But ... to each his own ways.
I just couldn't pass up that minute to preach you guys :)
I don't feel like a victim. I wasn't even involved in the whole thing. Why do you think I feel like a victim? Just curious.
They did have fun. But one of the things he talked to them about was his holiness. It is a state his state of being.
Making us act like him is like us trying to make a squirrel try to act like a beaver. The squirrel might try it just to please us, but he would do a good job and he would only have the will power to try it for a while. He would give up because he simply didn't have the nature of the Beaver.
But if we took the nature out of the Beaver and actually put it into our squirrl, all of a sudden life would be different. He would WANT to learn how to build a dam. He and the Beaver would really be able to talk together and he would become more and more like the Beaver.
God is holy. He is without sin as He is true to his nature. He deliberately let Adam and Eve make their own choice to sin. That plunged us all into sin because Adam and Eve birthed children with dead spirits.
God decided to come down to earth to talk to us face to face. He called Himself Jesus. Also to live the life of a God man here on earth without sinning. After He was put to death, and payed the price of all our sins, He told us that He would turn us into, non humans, but put the life of God into us and we would become real children of God born out of Him. Each time someone receives Christ life actually leaves him and comes into us.
Sin and the sinful nature of man is what keeps them away from God. We can't stop it ourselves, it must come from God himself. It is our innate sinfulness that separates us from Him. He aches for the girls on the poles and for the men who need to watch her.
So He doesn't find it funny. He wants to break us away from the shackles that pull us to places like that. But He loves them. Calls for them and asks us to love them.
That's what He tells us, but in different words.
But you are right to know he laughs at many things with us.
I'm sure you can find a Youtube video about it.
I dont see anything wrong with it...gives the girls some exercise.
All I can picture in my head though is a bunch of older woman in little hats, gloves and short stubby heels with their flowered dresses going "weeeeeeeeeeeee" as they bump and grind the pole. Grannies on poles...
