oven "fried" chicken

Anybody got a good recipe for this? My hubby loves fried chicken, but of course, it's not good for anybody. A very long time ago my girlfriend's mother would make it with crushed corn flakes and it was pretty good. Alas, she is long gone, so now I'm opening up this question to the Gather folks. Do you have a good recipe or do you know of a good recipe for oven "fried" chicken?

it is unhealthy and I don't fry it, but he can take himself to a KFC...so I was hoping

Try looking for bisquick recipes online - i can't remember the site - but they have an oven fried recipe that is good.

It's really easy. Preheat oven to 425. Line a baking pan with foil. Spray lightly with Pam. Take cut up chicken pieces (I use all legs and thighs, but use what you like.) In one pie pan put Ranch dressing, and in a second put corn flake crumbs. Roll the chicken first in the salad dressing, then in the cornflake crumbs and place it on the foil lined pan. When all the chicken is in the pan, spray lightly with Pam. Bake in the oven until crispy and done through, about 40 minutes. Done!

Just wanted to say this is the real bottled salad dressing, as someone asked me if it was the dry stuff. My husband said to add that if you are using breast halves, or your pieces are really big, it will take closer to an hour!
