This year I didn't celebrate much. No hat or pins, no decorations. Instead I went to two movies and had a green ice cream cone.
We saw "Tangled," an adorable movie with a lot of laughs. It wasn't smart of us to go during spring break though. There were noisy toddlers and a crying baby, as well as a middle-aged male who left the theater mid-movie talking on his cell phone.
Then we went to Chick Fil-A, where I spotted some people with green ice cream cones. It didn't taste differently, but it was fun anyway.
Next we went to see the "Green Hornet." I had it confused with the "Green Lantern," so I was disappointed when I saw Seth Rogan instead of Ryan Reynolds. Fortunately, we only paid $1.50 per ticket so it was worth what we paid.
When I was a kid, all the movies were released as double features. I don't remember when that stopped, but it was a long time ago. Today was fun.
