Billy Ray Cyrus is calling off his divorce. He and his wife Tish are evidently going to try to work on their marriage and stay together.
The couple announced their split last fall after 17 years of marriage. Shortly thereafter, an infidelity scandal broke out involving Tish and Bret Michaels, and then their daughter Miley Cyrus was filmed smoking Salvia out of a bong. The Cyrus family looked as though they were falling apart, but suddenly things seem to be turning around.
"I've dropped the divorce. I want to put my family back together Â… Things are the best they've ever been. I feel like I got my Miley back. I feel like we're the daddy and daughter we were before Hannah Montana," he said during his taping of The View.
It isn't often that celebrity divorces are called off, but when they are, it's usually a great story. There is something really special about couples who decide to stay together. The stories are inspirational to a point. It's a feel good type of story in a world of bad news.
The interview is set to air on Friday's episode of The View.
