NCIS: Los Angeles has certainly made a name for itself and like NCIS, has brought in a large audience. The spinoff's cast is just as entertaining and just as good at their jobs, and their skills are going to be put to the test when they have to use them in a situation that's not exactly the norm for them.
NCIS: LA team must protect the bad guy
According to TVGuide, an upcoming episode will feature "a lifelong criminal who is as charming as he is talented at building high-end custom guns [and] happens to be the government's key witness in an arms trafficking case."
So, it's up to the NCIS: Los Angeles team to keep him alive so that he can testify. That doesn't sound like the easiest job for a federal agent, and it will be interesting to hear what each character's viewpoint is on the assignment. It also does sound like a story line that has been done before, but before passing judgment, fans should wait to see how the drama does with it. Still, they're going to have to figure out who's out to take this bad guy's life and it wouldn't be surprising if there's an explosion or two (NCIS: LA seems to be fond of those).
