On Saturday, I co-hosted a baby shower for my friend at the Savannah Tea Company, located in Historic Germantown, Nashville, TN. Germantown is an 18 square block area and was Nashville's first residential subdivision. All of the old buildings in Germantown have unique charm like this one.

Savannah Tea House has a wide variety of hot teas available, and the iced tea of the day was Peach-Apricot. If you choose hot tea, you get to pick out your tea cup. :)

The decor inside is very southern and very endearing. They have hats all over the walls, and you can wear one while you're there if you like!

This was my favorite...

We hosted a light tea for the guests, which started everyone off with scones with whipped cream and muffins. They served the whipped cream in various antique glass containers.

Next came a variety of mini sandwiches, assorted fruits, desserts, and chocolate covered strawberries. To die for!

There was only one left...

And at the end of the tea: Peach Sorbet and Gifts for the Mommy-to-Be!

I'd visit this place if I were in Nashville!
