Sassy thinks the quality of Little Debbie products is superior to Hostess, and Little Debbies are cheaper, too.  I haven't written a review of a Little Debbie product yet, so when I saw these new Banana Pudding Rolls, I purchased them even though I did not expect to like them.  I tend to not like things with artificial banana flavoring.  Honestly, I'm not sure whether or not the banana flavor is fake as the box reads "naturally & artificially flavored", but there is no mention of 'banana' anything on the ingredient list.

A 13.12 ounce box contains six individually-wrapped cake rolls, regularly priced at $1.79, on sale for $1.50.   One cake has a whopping 270 calories, 110 fat calories, 27 sugar.

I was pleasantly surprised.  I like 'em!  The banana flavor is good.  The rolls are soft and without a lot of annoying frosting.  There's plenty of creamy filling.  These are super-sweet so if you don't have a huge sweet tooth, you might not enjoy the rolls.

On a scale of one to ten, Sassy awards Little Debbie Banana Pudding Rolls an 8.  Sassy says Little Debbie came out with a winner and I hope they continue to bake these.
