Apparently a cavity, and left over pneumonia can really take a toll on someone. I ended up back at the hospital on Monday night. My white blood count was way up and it was wreaking havoc on my blood sugar and my blood pressure which is usually better than average. Of course I started to panic and went in to a full blown awful panic attack which caused everything to spike up even worse. If you read my last posting you will know this was my second trip to the emergency room in a matter of a couple of days. They did admit me and kept me over night, then released me in the morning. They gave me something to calm me down that knocked me out which was good. I was poked prodded all night and I have bruises all over my arms and one of my hands.
I am still a bit anxious and a tiny bit jittery, but feeling much better. Yesterday was awful, while did not have a full fledged panic attack I was on the verge of one all day and my heart hurt and I had to keep talking myself down. My sister taught me a breathing technique that really helped. I also felt better if I went outside or stuck my head outside. Somehow the cold seemed to relax me. The doctor also gave me some pills, which actually take a long time to kick in but kind of take the edge off.
So I am really hoping I can get rid of this pneumonia once and for all and can get my anxiety under control. Between my visits to the hospital and my husband's staff infection we really racking up the medical bills this month.
I want to tell you guys about the horrible ER experience we had too, but I will write about that later as I don't want this to be too lengthy.
