Charlie Sheen Twitter has been popular in the news lately and it just so happens that even McDonald's has jumped on the band wagon. The popular fast food franchise managed to make a funny tweet mocking the actor's recent rants.
The McDonald's McLobster sandwich is something that fast food fans were trying to figure out. Does the item truly exist at any McDonald's locations? Can it be ordered only during certain seasons or months of the year?
There are rumors that the sandwich is available only at the "Golden Arches" locations in Maine and some in Canada. Many people wanted to know if the menu item was coming to their town soon. On the McDonald's Twitter account, they brought an end to all the rumors, possibly upsetting fans in the process who wanted to try this sandwich out.
The fast food company recently tweeted to all the McLobster inquiries:
"Despite all the rumors there r no plans 2 bring #mclobster or mcsushi 2 the US menu. We r working on a new menu item called McWinning."
The Atlantic reports that corporations are really cashing in with Sheen's recent public outbursts. That McWinning remark is of course a playful jab at actor Charlie Sheen, who used the word "winning" quite a bit in his frantic rants during a recent media event. Apparently, McDonald's has a sense of humor, and this joke has even inspired some Twitter followers to tweet a challenge to Sheen. They want the actor to get a picture of himself eating a McLobster sandwich. Charlie Sheen just might be crazy enough to do it. Now he just has to find one!
