By analyzing carbon isotopes trapped in paper journals archived for more than a century, a researcher at the Weizmann Institute has found the timing of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere caused by the industrial revolution.
Among the isotopes of that atom, the famous C-14 is valuable for archaeologists, but as just shown Dan Yakir of the Weizmann Institute in Israel, the carbon 13 reveals the human influence on the composition of the atmosphere Earth since the dawn of the industrial revolution.

Some are suggestiing a tax of even more than USD 100 per ton ......
This is most probably why the climate deregulation deniers are so upset about the tax idea. They just don't care about the threat.
