We went to see the latest Narnia movie at the theater we call the dollar movies. (I can't remember its real name) It was Tuesday, the biggest discount day, so tickets were 75 cents. My son didn't want to wait until the next showing so we spent the $2 extra for 3D glasses.
That brought back memories of sitting in the theater as a child with plastic glasses. I mostly remember how funny everyone looked in those glasses. I did remember it being like the IMAX movies with things popping out at you.
It was fun. There was a preview for the next Pirates of the Caribbean which was funny and thrilling with the 3D glasses. I kept feeling like it was a Harry Potter movie after the first one with all the background movement and activities.
I'm not sure how well I liked the Narnia movie. I spent most of the time thinking about what the 3D glasses were doing. I see now how they got so popular.
Have you been to a 3D movie yet?
