destructive was the flood of 1893, which was far higher than either 1974 or 2011.
I would not read to much into this report the Daily mail that I read every day is renowned for this type of scare mongering.
And how can they say that the flooding could occur every twenty years? They cant predict the weather for the next few weeks never mind twenty years from now.
But only for about five days (max time a human can go without water)
