Foo Fighters Releases New Single "Rope"

The Foo Fighters has released their latest single “Rope.” Available on February 23rd 2011, fans can head straight to the bands official website.

 

 

A new album is also set to be released on April 11th 2011.  The new album called ‘Wasting Light’ will be eagerly awaited by fans who stay dedicated to David Grohl and the guys.

Following the trend among music releases, the Foo Fighters made a smart move and released it digitally first.  The formal track will be available on March 1, 2011.

Foo Fighters is also scheduled to play tonight’s Shockwaves NME Awards 2011, where Dave Grohl will pick up the NME Godlike Genius award.  It is agreed that David Grohl and his characteristic scream is well suited for this award.

Amongst the recent pop stars releasing their “version” of music, it will be refreshing to hear the Foo Fighters back in action with their latest creation. Tour dates have been announced and can be found on their website.
