The father of Zahra Baker has spoken to the press at great length, for the first time since his daughter was murdered and dismembered. Adam Baker says he didn't hurt Zahra.
According to a report from The Sydney Morning Herald, Adam Baker has at long last broken his silence since his 10-year-old daughter's horrific murder.
Adam Baker was accused by his wife Elisa, who is in jail on obstruction of justice charges directly pertaining to the Zahra Baker case, of dismembering the little girl's body following her death.
"That's the biggest lie she's ever told," Adam Baker told reporters. He has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing in his daughter's death, and with every trace of evidence that emerges, it looks more and more like Elisa Baker may be to blame.
Several friends and family members of Zahra Baker and her family have told the media that Elisa Baker abused the little girl. She often had bruises on her face and body that Elisa Baker would explain away with lies. Some people even contacted the Department of Child Services, but nothing was done in time to save Zahra's life.
Zahra Baker was reported missing by her father on October 9. Just a day or so later, Elisa Baker was arrested on obstruction of justice charges. She wrote a note and left it on her husband's truck windshield, that was devised to throw investigators off the trail.
While in jail, Elisa Baker ended up leading investigators to a couple of locations where Zahra's dismembered remains were discovered. She told a family member who visited her in prison that Zahra had died of natural causes and her body was dismembered afterward. Nearly everything Elisa Baker has said regarding Zahra Baker's case has wound up being a lie.
Adam Baker is still under public scrutiny with regard to Zahra's death. He has said next to nothing about the case to the press, and has denied involvement in her murder. Still people wonder how he couldn't have known what happened or perhaps even prevented Zahra's death.
More information will surface from Adam Baker regarding the Zahra Baker case, after an interview in which he is featured, airs on 60 Minutes on Sunday.
Hopefully Adam Baker will be able to clear his name in the Zahra Baker case if he truly is innocent of any wrongdoing. Someone still needs to pay for Zahra's murder and dismemberment, however, and it is certainly looking more all the time like Elisa Baker is the mastermind behind this heinous crime.

I strongly believe that the step mother is the key into cracking this case, but she is going to try to take anyone and everyone she can with her.
Does that mean he's innocent, only time will tell......
