My Dog Loves My Husband So Much

My husband is not home yet tonight because he drove himself to immediate care after work.  He banged his elbow a few days ago and it was all swollen and painful and the swelling has not gone down.  He called me to tell me he would be there for a couple of hours because he has a staff infection, apparently when he banged it he also got a little cut and it got infected.

They are going to give him an IV and treat him with antibiotics through the IV so that they get through his system quicker.  I am really glad he decided to go.  I thought he might have chipped the elbow or something, I didn't even think about a staff infection.  I knew someone who got terribly ill and is on disability now because of a staff infection so I am glad he is getting it treated.

Ordinarily I would be watching TV with my husband right now but since he is not home I on the computer instead.  I was watching one of the videos I posted today about my dog, the videos were taken by my husband so his voice is in the background.  Now my dog adores my husband, she bonded with him first when we first got her and I have never seen a dog love one human being so much.  When my dog heard his voice on the computer she started getting all excited thinking he was home.  She started running to the back door where he usually comes in and then started looking around in case she missed him coming in or something.  When she couldn't find him she started crying.  It took her about 10 minutes to calm down.  My dog really loves my husband.

Gosh, Rae, sorry to hear about your hubby and his elbow....hope everything will be okey......yep, sure sounds like the love relationship our Labradoodle has with my hubby.......LOL!!!!!! That's really something, isn't it?
Sorry I can't watch any of your videos.....I've not been able to view any in over a year......arghhhhhhh! First that, now I can't post photos..........yuck!!!!!

Nora make sure your computer is updated and has the latest Java update installed. I was having a problem last week and that is what I did and now I have everything back.

LOL! My husband's cat does the samething! =D I told him he was very lucky, most folks never get that from a pet, certainly not a cat. =)

Hope hubby is alright.....and I know that feeling too. Our dogs can recognize the sound of my husband's vehicle and will be waiting at the door all excited. If he doesn't come home for lunch, then the dogs sulk.

The dogs are always excited when Guy comes home from work. The parrot will tell him she will see him later when he leaves and always gets excited when he gets home and starts in the hello, hello, and just talks and talks. Guy has to say something to the parrot or she is all upset!
The dogs usually slow the progress of Guy getting into the house because they all want to say hello. Sometimes I can not wait till these puppies get older and calmer, but on the other hand I want to enjoy this puppy and teenager years of theirs.....
I bet your dog was real happy when he finally got home hu?

My lab reacts similarly when he hears video of my hubby when he's not around.

I hope the IV antibiotics help quickly.
