This time on Musicheads: Bill and the Local Show host, David Campbell, welcome Chris Riemenscheider of the Star Tribune to discuss the highly anticipated new album from Adele, Texas singer/songwriter Hayes Carll and Australian electro-rockers, Cut Copy.

This weeks question: February is Black History month...name an artist/or band that hasn't recieved the acclaim they deserve?

Bo Diddley never quite recieved the acclaim he deserved...he all but invented the blueprint for rock and roll.

Bad Brains. They took punk rock into a totally new direction and brought real musicianship to the genre. Plus, when they wanted, they could play some really good raggae.

There are lots of ways to go with this topic but if I have to pick one... and with the focus on Black History month... I'll take Sister Rosetta Tharpe. The case for her is she was one of the first (to my knowledge) women to play electric guitar (very bluesy and skillfully) and also to bring gospel to R&B. She's certainly up there with Little Richard (who, can even be argued as under appreciated).
