Genre Shorties Prompt (with a nod to Monday...

This is the 50th prompt for Genre Shorties. Huzzah!

Since it is such an important number, and to pay homage to Kay Moeller, who founded the group, your instructions for the week are simple.

- - - - Tell me about meeting with Kay!

Use the words "fifty" and "Kay." Oh, and throw
in "gobsmacked" for good measure.

“Special K.”

“Trying to lose weight, huh?”

“Funny.”

“Sorry. I have a meeting with Kay this morning.”

“How long have you been trying for that raise?”

“Too long. It’s only fifty cents an hour; you wouldn’t think it’d be such a big thing.”

“The world’s gobsmacked.”

“What?”

“Nothing.”

Haaa -- cool!! Very efficient use of resources, too. Kay should be impressed. Not sure she'll go up to .50 but you might get .30 or so out of her! Bring cheesecake. She's a toughie.
